Exercise? And Balance?

The best advice that I felt was given to me and I'm still trying to learn it is

START SLOW, so you don't burn out, get discouraged or hurt yourself. Choose a reasonable program that you feel you will be able to keep up with. (walking 3 times a week for 20 minutes) if your starting from nothing, add SLOWLY.

STAY CONSISTENT with the commitment you made. Set a date like 3 or 4 weeks that you will NOT miss a walk (or whatever the program you choose for yourself)

RAMP IT UP add gradually. Add maybe a couple of extra days a week, and /or longer walks. (add 15 minutes to your walk.)

As your LIFESTYLE changes, you will view it as PART of your life and not just another fad that will fizzle out and burn out.....

Baby steps, and it takes a lot of patience!

I highly recommend this book:
"never say diet"
By Chantel Hobbs
You can google her and find her website. She lost 200 pounds and can now run 26.2miles (a full marathon!)

She is extrememly inspiring.
DON"T GIVE UP!!!!!
